Iordan Souvandjiev<\/strong> <\/p>\n Iordan Souvandjiev is a qualified banking professional with over 30 years of experience mostly in the risk management being risk executive for more than 15 years since 1997 in the banking sector in Bulgaria.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Prior to starting his banking career in 1994 at Bulbank as an internal auditor, he worked and specialized in financial analyses and control at the Ministry of Industry. From 1997 until 2007, he worked in number of risk management positions at UniCredit Bulbank carrying responsibility for most of the projects related to Bank Acquisitions, Bank transformation according to the UniCredit Group standards, improvement of risk values and keeping excellent underwriting standards and contributing to the successful finalization of UniCredit merger with Bank Austria. In 2007, Iordan Souvandjiev joined Eurobank Bulgaria serving as Chief Risk Officer and member of the Management board from 2010 until 2019, responsible for the risk management functions and participating in major acquisition projects, notably the acquisitions of DSK Bank, Alfa Bank and Piraeus Bank.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Iordan Souvandjiev joined Allianz Bank Bulgaria in 2019 as Chief Risk Officer and member of the Management Board. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of Allianz Leasing Bulgaria.
