Vasilis Kosmas

Partner and founder of Alantra’s Corporate Portfolio Advisors. Based in Athens has worked extensively with banks on the sell-side to develop and implement sale strategies for non-core and non-performing loans (including servicing portfolio carve outs).
Previously to Alantra, Vasilis has held been COO at Ethniki Asfalistiki, Director for the Strategy & Corporate Division at National Bank of Greece and Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Co.
Vasilis has extensive knowledge of the Greek Banking sector in capital markets, asset liability management and NPL workout.
He has also led several projects across different jurisdictions such as Cyprus, Serbia and Croatia. Vasilis holds a Master in Business Administration and Finance from New York University, Stern School of Business.
