Lefteris Economides
Group Chief Credit Officer, Eurobank
Mr Lefteris Economides has been the Group Chief Credit Officer of Eurobank since September 2016.
He has an extensive experience of over 25 years in banking and the financial sector.
He joined Eurobank in 2000 and since then he held various positions in Internal Audit, Debt Capital Markets, and the Global Corporate International Division of the Bank.
From 2013 to 2016 he served as the Head of the Corporate Remedial Sector leading several debt restructurings in Greece.
Before joining Eurobank, he worked for PwC as Auditor and for Telesis Investment Bank as a Corporate Account Officer.
He holds a BSc in Business Administration from the University of Macedonia and an MBA in International Banking and Finance from the University of Birmingham. He is also a Fellow Member of Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA).
