Women in Business forum – REAL CHALLENGES

- What are the real challenges facing Women Managers and Entrepreneurs today, in the context of Diversity and Inclusion, both in the context of recruitment and in the context of promotion or taking business initiatives?
- Are these challenges, are they commonly perceived by Male and Female Managers? How are corporate results affected?
- How do Women of the new generation, in Greece and abroad, experience the challenges?
- How is the landscape of Women’s participation in Boards of Directors and at the helm of Businesses outlined, today in Greece?
- What is the position of the Greek State and what are the developments in the European Union and internationally?
The 10th Women in Business Forum, ICAP CRIF, will examine the REAL CHALLENGES and present the SUCCESS STORIES of Businesses, Government Policymakers and Prominent Executives in the context of Inclusion and Diversity, focusing on the Female Entrepreneur or Manager of modern Greek business.
The Forum, as an extended 4-hour, interactive experience, aspires through Speeches, Presentations and Panel Discussions:
- To creatively examine, the Concerns and Challenges, Legislative Initiatives and current Policies regarding the Administrative Inclusion of Women, in Senior and Higher Administration.
- To highlight subversive (international) stories of young and more experienced Women Executives and Professionals, who have successfully dared to challenge the professional establishment and overcome the bottleneck of racial discrimination in the Workplace.
- To illuminate corporate Case Studies of Women’s Leadership, of major Companies in Greece and internationally.
- To offer rich and interesting Research information, based on recent Studies and Research on the current and future conditions of businesses, organizations and societies.
- To provoke a public dialogue with Executives and Personalities from a wide range of controversial Professions, Specialties and Activity Sectors.
Participants, Business Executives, Freelancers and Individuals will have the opportunity to talk to Senior Executives and Professionals in the field, to learn about the Initiatives and Programmes being carried out in our country and of course to participate in the very successful Networking Session.
The Women in Business Forum, will honour the iconic Greek Soprano, Maria Callas.

The 9th Forum “Women in Business|Together to the next level”, for Female Leadership and Entrepreneurship in the current era was successfully held on Thursday, October 19th at the NJV Athens Plaza hotel. The event was moderated by Katerina Gkagkaki, Communications Specialist and Deputy Mayor of Social Solidarity and Civil Society at the Municipality of Athens.
For the first time, it was conducted both in person and online, also including a special professional training session on the topic of “Resilience and Adaptability in Crisis Management“.

The acknowledgment and support of the female capital have been a perennial issue in the Greek business and political scene, affected of course by the challenges and changes in the global institutional framework. ICAP CRIF has been consistently participating, since 2011, in the relevant public dialogue of Companies, Institutions and the State, mainly through its two focused annual initiatives, Women in Business:
