Public Consultation on the introduction of a new methodology for the assignment of Credit Ratings to Shipping Companies

In accordance with the requirements of the European Regulation 1060/2009 on Credit Rating Agencies, ICAP CRIF RATINGS announces the launch of a public consultation on the proposed new methodology for the assignment of Credit Ratings to Shipping Companies.

The consultation aims to improve rating practices and enhance the accuracy and transparency of credit ratings and therefore ICAP CRIF RATINGS invites all stakeholders to provide their views and suggestions.

The consultation period ends on 2 September 2024. The comments received will be published on this website, assessed and, where possible, incorporated into the final methodology.
