Dimitrios Bourpoulas is the head of ESG at Artemis Credit Bureau. Dimitrios joined the organisation in 2023 to lead the Interbank Project for the Assessment of Cypriot Companies based on ESG criteria, with the overall mission of collaborating with key stakeholders in the Cypriot market to develop and implement strategies aimed at enhancing environmental sustainability, promoting social responsibility, and strengthening corporate governance practices. Prior to joining Artemis Credit Bureau, Dimitrios worked for international companies, gaining more than 15 years of experience in sectors such as banking, fintech, insurance, and financial data analysis in Europe, the Middle East, and the US. Dimitrios also serves as a Non-Executive Director on the Board of Directors of an international Fintech company. He holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Florida, a master’s degree in statistics from Columbia University, and a professional certification from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Artificial Intelligence (“Artificial Intelligence: Implications for Business Strategies”) and a professional certification from Harvard Business School in Sustainable Investing.
