Michael Kammas

Dr. Michael Kammas is the General Manager of the Cyprus Bankers Association. He is a member of the Executive Committee of the European Banking Federation (EBF) in Brussels. Since November 2013, he has held the position of Vice-Chairman of the EBA’s Banking Committee for European Social Affairs (BCESA). He has also served as Chairman of the Audit, Remuneration, and Budget Committee of the European Banking Federation from May 2017 to May 2021. He has been a member of the Board of Directors of various state organisations, state institutions and other private bodies. Dr. Kammas has taught courses at universities in the USA and Cyprus and is a Lecturer at the Cyprus College of Business Studies. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Utah in the USA and MA and BA degrees in Economics from Roosevelt University in Chicago, Illinois, USA.
