Oana Oprea is currently Group DPO, Compliance and Risk Officer in NEPI Rockcastle Group, premier owner and operator of shopping centres in Central and Eastern Europe. Oana counts over eighteen years in the banking field and over five years in the retail real estate industry. She has expertise in and has been managing areas like legal, compliance, risk management, data protection and business continuity. She is licensed in law and political sciences and has a Phd in Commercial law, is certified as data privacy professional & manager (CIPP/E, CIPM) by International Association of Privacy Professionals and holds other professional certifications in compliance, data privacy, project management and training. She is also member of the European Council of Shopping Places – Risk and Resilience workgroup. Oana is active as a certified trainer in private projects.
