Magdalena Caramilea
Director of Sustainability, Autonom Group

Magdalena Caramilea is Sustainability Director within the Autonom Group, where her main responsibilities include driving the company’s sustainable development, non-financial reporting and scenario planning. She is also actively involved in investor communication and in raising awareness of environmental and social impact among colleagues and business partners.

A strong advocate of sustainability in both her personal and professional life, she is passionate about people and nature, using travel as a way to better understand the world and engage in various humanitarian projects. Guided by the principle of “evolve daily” as a core value and continuous learning process, Magdalena has pursued several national and international training programs in recent years, including “Financial Markets” at Yale University, “Fast Track MBA” at BISM (Bucharest International School of Management), “Sustainable Strategies” at Stanford Graduate School of Business, and “Corporate Governance that Creates Value” developed by ENVISIA Boards of Elite in partnership with the Bucharest Stock Exchange.

Magdalena is certified as an INTERNATIONAL SUSTAINABLE BUSINESS®  Specialist by IASE, complemented by additional specialized programs under the auspices of EBRD, the IFC Green Bond Technical Assistance Program (GB-TAP), Rotterdam School of Management, and the University of Cambridge. She is currently a member of the Corporate Governance Committee of the Bucharest Stock Exchange.
