Simina has built extensive expertise in risk management, compliance, and a broad cross-functional banking culture. She has developed a solid career in international banking, which began nearly two decades ago in Paris and continued in Nice, Monaco, and Bucharest, within major banking groups such as BPCE (France), HSBC (UK), and UniCredit (Italy).

She initially gained a comprehensive understanding of the banking organizational landscape through her involvement in a bank merger, operational risk management, and business continuity. Since 2010, Simina has held management roles in banking, focusing on compliance, risk management, and governance.

She has successfully developed new methodologies by integrating digital solutions, established investigation departments tailored to evolving challenges, and mentored and trained new generations of Compliance Officers. Her diverse experience across asset management, retail, corporate, and private banking, combined with her strategic vision and strong leadership skills, has paved the way for her current role as Chief Risk Officer of the Investment and Development Bank.
