Deputy Country Manager

ICAP CRIF, Bulgaria

Maya is the Deputy Country Manager of ICAP CRIF Bulgaria, part of the global CRIF Group, a leader in credit and business information systems, advanced analytics, outsourcing and processing services, and digital transformation solutions that empower business growth and innovation.

She joined ICAP CRIF Bulgaria in 2020 as a Business Development Manager. In 2024, she was promoted to Senior Business Development Manager, and in 2026 she advanced to the role of Deputy Country Manager.

Prior to joining ICAP CRIF, she gained more than 15 years of extensive experience in the financial sector, including five years as Director of Corporate & SME Business Development at DSK Bank, part of OTP Group. Before that, she was part of the Credit Agricole Middle Management Team and Piraeus Bank Corporate Banking.

Maya graduated from the University of Sofia “St. Kliment Ohridski” with a Master’s degree in Economics (Strategic & Financial Management). She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Modern Greek Philology. She is fluent in English and Spanish and is currently pursuing a PhD in World Economy & International Relations at the Economic Research Institute of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences.
